BIOGRAPHY: Gladys received her education in Antler, North Dakota and was a graduate of the Antler High School in 1929. She continued her education at Creighton Memorial St. Josephs Hospital in Omaha, NE where she received her nursing degree. She then attended the University of Minnesota where she continued her education in Public Health Nursing and was employed for several months in Minneapolis with Community Health. She then moved to Longmont, CO, where she was employed as the school nurse for one year, and the US Public Health Service for one year in Saguache, CO. She was united in marriage to Ronald Force on December 26, 1936 in Denver, CO. In 1937, they moved to Estelline, SD where she worked with her husband as a dental assistant. Ronald died on August 18, 1977 in Estelline. Gladys has continued to make Estelline her home.
BIOGRAPHY: She was a member of the St. Frances deSales Catholic Church, past president of the Alter Society and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Hospital Board and the Advisory Council at Atco Enterprises for four years.
