Put drain in, raised crops, sold it for a nice profit.
Bought farms, fixed them up, sold for profit (Adel, IA; Sascatuan, Canada;
Watertown, SD; Clearlake, SD; Imperial Valley, CA; Healdsburg, CA).

Moved to San Diego, CA. In 1923 became ill, operated on for gall stones, found
he had cancer & died.
