To Mr. Cowan, the man of her choice, she was married in 1849, and in 1850 she connected herself with the Presbyterian Church, of which she continued a devoted, zealous, and consistent member until the day of her deat
Mrs. Cowan was a lady of meek, gentle, and unobtrusive manners, a loving wife, tender mother, kind neighbor, and true friend.
